Horsewright Wild Rags
We currently offer Wildrags made from two different types of silk. We use Sandwash silk and Charmeuse silk. Each has its own characteristics and feel. Our standard wildrags are made 38 inches square. This extra size makes it easier to tie the knot and provides more protection for you, as well as making the rag more versatile. You can tie it and wear it in many different ways. Our wildrags have a serged edge. This produces a much stronger and durable rag than hemming. Silk, as a natural fabric, breathes. This adds to its comfort and practicality, plus silk is cool when its warm and warm when its cool. Wildrags aren't just for lookin' punchy, they really do provide protection against the elements.
Buckaroo Sizes: These are popular with the buckaroo crowd. Some of our wildrags are available in a larger 42 inch square size, or larger if needed. Colors available in larger sizes are dependent upon the width of the silk. These are special order so contact us directly to place an order. The price on the 42 inch wildrags is $32.00. We can also make small sizes per your request. There may be an extra charge for special sizes.
